The Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria

(SMEDAN) is a government agency

to enhance the growth and sustainability of SMEs across various sectors. Through various initiatives such

The NIRSAL Microfinance Bank - Partnership

NIRSAL Microfinance Bank (NMFB) is a licensed Nigerian Financial Institution specializing in banking
services. Established in 2019, it operates with a National Microfinance Bank license granted by the
Central Bank of Nigeria.

As an Intervention Bank, NMFB facilitates the on-lending of special funds from the Central Bank of Nigeria to eligible Nigerian citizens. The Bank is predominantly owned by the Bankers Committee (75%), with NIRSAL (15%) and NIPOST (10%) also having ownership stakes.
